New Audi A7 is a cool sportback, which is designed in executive-class 5-door coupe, as well as sedan designs.

The latest Audi A7 was debuted at the 2010 Paris Motor Show after being showcased as an Audi Sportback concept car during 2009 Detroit Auto Show.

It is based on the design platform of the next generation Audi A6 executive-class saloon and estate models.

It is available with two optional engines 3.0 L (295 BHP) and 2.8 L (201 BHP) petrol engines and two 3.0 L diesel engines that produce 241hp.

2008 Audi A7

The 2008 A7 edition was offered as a 4-door coupe in 2009. In the same year, a new cabriolet version was also added to the lineup. The present generation Audi A7 is one of the most advanced versions released by Audi. It is released in both coupe and sedan body styles. It is planned to be released for 2011, and it’s going to be one of the most sensational releases, not to mention the new compact Audi A1 coming your way.

Coming to power train, this vehicle is designed with a couple of V6 engines. Among them, the 2.8L engine is provided in base model to deliver 204hp (152kW) of power, while the other one is a 3.0L supercharged engine for the generation of 300hp (225kW).

2011 Audi A7 will be designed with an optional 4.0L V8 engine to deliver 94hp (70kW); low end models will work with 6-speed manual gearbox and 8-speed automatic transmission, whereas the high performance versions will be loaded with a 7-speed dual-clutch unit

North American models are delivered with an Audi’s Quattro AWD standard, even though the European models have versions with RWD option. The package also contains new torque-vectoring system of Audi.

In addition to this model, Audi is planning to release some more high performance models including the new sub-compact Audi A1 hatchback.
